About Me
I’m Amanda, the creator of Rockstar Resumes. My journey began when I struggled to change careers after feeling stuck in a field I didn’t love. I realized my experience was not the problem. The way I was presenting it was. That discovery inspired me to help others showcase their skills in a way that opens doors to meaningful careers. I live in Bryan, TX with my partner and seven pets, and I enjoy reading, writing fiction, biking, and binge-watching TV when I’m not helping clients achieve their career goals.

I built Rockstar Resumes on the foundation of my own career transition. Through extensive research into hiring trends, resume keywords, and employer expectations, I learned how to move from sales and hotel management into a career in disaster recovery and emergency management. This hands-on journey gave me proven strategies to help others succeed.
I’ve worked across multiple industries and create specialized resumes, including federal, functional, and nontraditional formats. Years of studying interview techniques, key buzzwords, and skills that capture employer interest have allowed me to develop a process that works for every level, from college students to executives.
